Began peritoneal on the cycler!! No more 4 hours 3x a week in a clinic, no more 4x a day at home; all dialysis through the night while sleeping🙏♥️🙏

While Russell is still waiting for a kidney donor, he moved from hemodialysis to peritoneal dialysis! He has the catheter, training, and supplies to start peritoneal AT HOME tomorrow 🙌 Praying... this will be much gentler on his body, less invasive, and offer more freedom ♥️

Peritoneal catheter surgery April 1🙌 then allow time to heal, transition/education time... praying for peritoneal dialysis at home early May🙏 Thank you ALL for your continuous prayers! Russell and I live one day at a time, embrace each other, count our blessings, and pray for God's grace

Russell's courage in the face of adversity is a shining example! He refuses to let dialysis define him. Russell and his wife, Talea, have been dedicating themselves to renovating a home at Indian Lake over the Christmas break. Their remarkable achievements encompass plumbing, electric, insulation, and painting, with flooring and cabinetry on the agenda.
