🐣🌷 Easter Joy Across Home Again Communities! 🌷🐣

All three of our Home Again Assisted Living communities had a beautiful Easter filled with laughter, smiles, and a whole lot of fun! 💛

From dyeing eggs and Easter egg hunts to sharing treats and spending time together, our residents truly made the holiday special. And since our baby chicks weren’t quite ready for their big debut… we improvised with a very entertaining chicken visitor 🐔😂

Moments like these are what Home Again is all about—connection, joy, and creating memories together.

Our Waunakee Memory Care residents recently enjoyed a drum circle—and it was so much more than just music!

Drumming is a powerful activity in memory care because it:
✨ Encourages self-expression without needing words
✨ Supports coordination and motor skills
✨ Stimulates memory and cognitive function
✨ Builds connection through shared rhythm and energy

Most importantly—it brings smiles, laughter, and a sense of accomplishment. 💙

Did you know April Fools’ Day has been around for hundreds of years? 🤔

One popular story dates back to the 1500s, when France switched from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar. People who didn’t get the news and continued celebrating the New Year in late March/early April were playfully teased and called “April fools.” 🎭

Over time, the day became known for lighthearted pranks, jokes, and laughter shared among friends and family.

Here at Home Again, we’re all about keeping the fun going—with smiles, stories, and maybe a harmless little joke or two! 😄
