Happy Holidays!

12/22-1/2 Our office will open at 8am with closing times varying, with the exception of being closed all day 12/25 and 1/1.

Please call at 8am to request appointments, medication refills, or address any other questions you may have.

As always, you may call the office after hours to speak to on call staff for urgent questions or concerns that cannot wait until the following business day. Portal messages will also be monitored regularly.

AAP President Dr. Susan J. Kressly responds to the recent changes on the CDC’s website - “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website has been changed to promote false information suggesting vaccines cause autism. Since 1998, independent researchers across seven countries have conducted more than 40 high-quality studies involving over 5.6 million people. The conclusion is clear and unambiguous: There’s no link between vaccines and autism. Anyone repeating this harmful myth is misinformed or intentionally trying to mislead parents.

We call on the CDC to stop wasting government resources to amplify false claims that sow doubt in one of the best tools we have to keep children healthy and thriving: routine immunizations. The American Academy of Pediatrics stands with members of the autism community who have asked for support in stopping this rumor from spreading any further."

We love kids.

For routine questions, chronic concerns, and medication refills, call our office during regular office hours. Northside Pediatrics makes every effort to see sick children on the same day parents call. However, appointments for routine check-ups and physicals need to be made in well in advance.

Appointments For an appointment, please call 812-379-9524

After Hours A pediatrician is available whenever the office is closed for emergencies and questions that cannot wait until normal office hours. Call the hospital operator at 812-379-4441 and they will page the doctor on-call. Routine refills or questions about chronic problems cannot be answered after hours. Pediatric nurses sometimes assist us in responding to your needs after hours. These nurses are extremely proficient in answering questions on fevers and common childhood illnesses.
