When you develop into a fighter, a strong one, picking the fight over hiding it can lead to a pattern when we dont know when to pick our battles. We want to be strong. Burnout happen when that "strength" you carried breaks. And you no longer feel strong anymore.
Let's face it, strength isn't the problem. The problem starts when strength becomes what people expect from you. When others think you're superhuman they dont notice if you need something. Maybe because your strength makes them feel bad aboit themselves. Then the dynamic grows and to you showing weakness is like admitting defeat. And without even realizing it, value starts to be measured by how well you keep everything together without breaking a sweat. This isn't the way we were meant to live.
