Unfortunately we have been inactive since the pandemic shutdown. It appears that a vaccine may be the horizon soon. Until then I strongly encourage everyone to continue their practice to the best of their abilities under the circumstances, safely masked and distanced. Many teachers, including Dr. Hun Lye have taken their teachings online. This is a unique opportunity for those of us without ready access to a center or local teacher. Dr. Lye has created http://drikungdharmakirti.com/ as a place for offering teachings. There are also programs offered through Drikung Kagyu Foundation - USA and Urban Dharma NC.

Virtual Empowerment of Lady Parnashavari

Lady Parnashavari (Tib. Loma Gyonma) is an important form of Tārā who has the special power of the prevention and pacification of infectious diseases.

Dorjé Lopön Dr. Lye will confer the blessing-empowerment of Lady Parnashavari on Sunday, April 19 starting 8 AM (EST). This will be a virtual event through the Zoom platform.

The empowerment will last 3-4 hours. You should commit to attending the entire event. Some preparations are needed.

Join the Urban Dharma NC open sangha online this Thursday evening.

Online Open Sangha

This Thursday at 7:30 pm and for all upcoming Thursdays, Open Sangha will take place online, and will be streamed via the Urban Dharma page. The program will follow the same schedule that Open Sangha has followed in the past-- 30 minutes of meditation, followed by Dharma teachings, with a short break in between.
