Our overall goal is to provide the tools and support needed for each of our patient’s success. We are a compassion based medicated assistance treatment program for opioid and op**te dependency. We have been open since September 2015 with a goal of providing a higher level of care.

Good Friday Morning :) Friday isn't a day I like to talk about grief, But this is what I want to share with you... Grief isn't just pain, grief is proof that something beautiful existed. That beauty will always be with us no matter how many days or years pass. I just have to think of why I loved them... and then Smile. :) I am never alone, my people are always with me.

Good Morning Everybody :) We learn many things in recovery, but we also are reminded of what we have misplaced during our active addiction. My Dad used to tell me this story when I was feeling confused or lost as a pre-teen... He would say, "There are two wolves that constantly fight inside of you... One Wolf is evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, lies, inferiority and ego. The other Wolf is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy and truth. What wolf wins? The one that you feed." Remember, just because you misplaced something doesn't mean it's lost forever... sometimes we just need to revisit the past. We love you, the journey is all yours to enjoy.

Thank you Bodies Race Company for putting on a great race. You made my our Overcomers Running Froup First Step Recovery Centers of Central Ohio First Step Recovery Center group feel welcomed, invited, celebrated, and most of all — you made them feel like they belonged.
In the world many of them come from, they often battle the struggles of addiction, PTSD from incarceration, and the judgment that society places on them.
But none of that mattered when we stepped onto that starting line.
