We had a wonderful Easter celebration today!! Our kitchen crew made a delicious meal, and then our colleagues searched for Easter eggs hidden all over the building. Some say there might still be eggs waiting to be found, full of even more candy and cash, so keep your eyes peeled! Peeled like one of the hard boiled eggs we painted and ate for lunch! Thanks to everyone who made today so much fun, have a great Easter weekend whether you celebrate or not, and we’ll see you all on Monday for Open Mic Night!!

It's no April Fool's joke - the Pathway calendar for April 2026 is out NOW!!!! We have a lot of events planned for this month, and we hope as many colleagues as possible will be here to help us pull this off. April 28th-30th we will have guests from Clubhouse International evaluating our program, and the best way we can strut our stuff is with a packed house! We at Pathway Clubhouse are sharing our love and support with our transgender colleagues and community members on this Trans Day of Visibility. No matter what any law dictates, no matter where anyone is on their journey towards self-actualization, all trans people can be themselves at Pathway. Your individuality will always be valued here. In honor of our trans community, we share this transgender flag we probably should have ironed first. Be safe, and have a wonderful day.

The legacy of Lis (Louise) Asklund lives on.
This Women’s History Month, we honor a pioneer who turned advocacy into action. From her early work supporting women’s reproductive rights to exposing abuse at Eugeniahemmet, Lis fearlessly challenged injustice even when powerful voices tried to silence her.
She also believed in building better systems. In 1980, she helped found Fountain House Stockholm, Europe’s first Clubhouse for people living with serious mental illness.
Today, her vision continues through Sweden's 20 Clubhouses and the global community led by Clubhouse International.

We are deeply sad to announce that our colleague Mike Meadows passed away last night. Mike attended Pathway Clubhouse for over thirty years and was an essential part of our day-to-day activities. He will be remembered as a hard worker, a steadfast Pathway colleague, a music lover, and a dedicated fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. In recent years he had become synonymous with the snack bar, which he worked dutifully every day with gruff and warmth. We will keep our Pathway colleagues informed of any funeral arrangements hosted by the family or at the Clubhouse.
May his memory be eternal. No one did it like him.

Our menu this week is full of tasty treats and Pathway specialities! Join us tomorrow at 1:30pm for our weekly menu planning meeting.
We also ask our colleagues to join us in celebrating the life of our old stove, which is being replaced tomorrow with a new model. This will take nearly the entire day, and we’ll take plenty of pictures to mark the occasion. We thank this stove for roughly three decades of service, through good times and hard times, and we hope it gets to enjoy its new life on a farm upstate where it can roam free.

Pathway Clubhouse is a psycho-social rehabilitation clubhouse that offers day treatment services, integration opportunities, and employment readiness services to members whose lives have been seriously challenged by severe and persistent mental illness.
The Pathway Clubhouse vocational, social, and recreational services are based on the clubhouse model of psycho-social rehabilitation which provides members with a safe environment where they can regain confidence, explore their abilities, and be supported as they re-enter the world of work. Pathway Clubhouse is accredited by Clubhouse International through the International Standards for Clubhouse Programs for its commitment to excellence and providing the highest quality service for its members.

Work Units
Pathway Clubhouse has three work units to choose from:
Business Unit
The Business Unit informs the clubhouse community about the work of the clubhouse.
Food Service Unit
The Food Service Unit greets and provides food service for clubhouse visitors and members during activities.
Retail Unit
The Retail Unit assists in the operation of the Treasures on Broad & Annex Store, including customer service and accounting functions.
