Congratulations Pauletta Meredith, Cook, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.
Letta has been part of our team for 13 years and is truly an asset, known for her kindness, compassion, and dedication.
Thirteen years ago, Letta returned to the workforce not knowing exactly what path to take, but she knew she loved working with the elderly and loved to cook. When she saw an opening here, she applied, bringing with her a passion for serving others and her secret ingredient, a spoonful of love.
Letta was nominated for her commitment to going above and beyond. She cares deeply about the meals residents are served, ensuring they are nutritious and follow physician-ordered diets, as well as making sure her food is delicious. She has stepped in multiple times as Certified Food Manager, showing her reliability and leadership. Her strong work ethic, loyalty, and adherence to ASCβs core values make her an outstanding role model. She is also a gifted teacher and mentor, always willing to guide others with patience and respect.
Residents love when Letta is here. She takes time to talk with them about their dining experience and ensures any concerns are quickly addressed. Her guiding principle is Matthew 7:12, the Golden Rule, which she lives out daily through her compassion and generosity.
Letta lives in Edinburgh with her husband of 34 years, Glenn. She is a proud mother of six, has three pets, and enjoys crafting, reading, cooking, and giving back to her community. Thank you, Letta, for everything you do for our residents, families, and staff. Congratulations!
