🍀💚 Happy St. Paddy’s Day from Cherry Blossom Senior Living!

Today we celebrated with our Memory Care residents in true festive style — with all things green! From shamrock cookies to refreshing green punch, the day was filled with sweet treats and cheerful smiles. 🍪🥤

Residents also joined in the fun with festive attire, adding even more color and spirit to the celebration. It was a joyful and lively way to enjoy the holiday together.

Our Memory Care residents have been enjoying the beauty of new flower arrangements in the dining room. They’ve been getting hands-on by helping arrange the live flowers that brighten our tables each day.

Residents have enjoyed selecting and placing the flowers, then admiring the colorful arrangements during mealtimes. The fresh blooms add a cheerful touch to the room and help create a warm, inviting atmosphere for everyone.

It’s wonderful to see creativity blossoming throughout our community — one arrangement at a time. 🌸💐

🌼🌱 Spring will soon be in bloom at Cherry Blossom Senior Living!

Our residents are getting ready for the season by planting flowers using fun planting kits. Mini roses, daisies, lavender, and sunflowers are now settling into their new homes, thanks to the careful hands of our gardeners.

Everyone is looking forward to warmer days ahead and watching these seeds grow and blossom. It’s a wonderful way to welcome spring and add a little extra color and cheer to our community! 🌷☀️

🌸A blooming idea at Cherry Blossom Senior Living!

Over the past month, we’ve added live flowers to our dining room tables, and they’ve brought an extra touch of beauty to every meal. The fun twist? Our residents have been arranging the flowers themselves! 🌷

Not only do the fresh arrangements brighten the room, but residents have loved admiring their creations while enjoying meals together. Fresh flowers can help put a smile on faces and create a cheerful atmosphere — and we’ve certainly seen that in our dining room.

It’s a small touch that’s brought a lot of color, creativity, and joy to the day! 🌼

Our residents recently enjoyed a wonderful performance by the talented young ladies of the The Irwin Academy of Irish Dance. Their energetic Irish dancing had toes tapping and smiles all around!

Our team loves bringing engaging experiences like this into daily life at Cherry Blossom. From music and dance to creative activities and special visitors, these moments help keep our community vibrant, active, and full of fun.

Our community had an incredible time at Casino Night, where residents, families, and guests enjoyed an evening full of excitement, laughter, and friendly competition. From blackjack tables to roulette spins, everyone loved trying their luck while soaking in the festive atmosphere (and the decorations were a hit!).

Residents got crafty during today’s activity, creating adorable embroidery hoop snowmen while enjoying great conversation and the smooth sounds of beautiful jazz music playing in the background. Between the stitching, laughter, and toe-tapping tunes, creativity was truly snow joke! ❄️

Hands-on activities like crafting are an important part of our community’s holistic approach to wellness — giving residents a chance to express themselves, stay engaged, and enjoy relaxed social time together in a fun and comfortable setting.

It was a cool way to spend the day, and these cheerful snowmen definitely warmed the room! ☃️

Yesterday our community was buzzing with Mardi Gras fun as residents in both Assisted Living and Memory Care got creative making festive masks — then celebrated in true New Orleans style! The party continued with mouth-watering beignets and a delicious jambalaya dip made special by our amazing cook, Jen. Talk about a tasty way to celebrate! 🎭

We love honoring special occasions like Mardi Gras because they bring everyone together. Celebrations like these are a wonderful way to promote socialization and spark conversation — all while having a whole lot of fun.

Thank you to our residents and team for making it such a joyful day. Here’s to more moments worth celebrating! 🎉

Memory Care at Cherry Blossom had quite the day last week!

Residents enjoyed a special lunch outing to Steak 'n Shake, sharing great food and even better company. After returning to the community, they rolled up their sleeves and began preparing for Valentine’s Day by creating beautiful flower arrangements for the celebration.

Outings that spark connection and hands-on activities that encourage creativity are just a few of the ways we make each day meaningful at Cherry Blossom.
