We are a Surgical Periodontal Office that specializes in IV Sedation, Surgical and Non-Surgical Periodontal
Therapy as well as Dental Implants with 2 central Ohio locations. Our office is very high tech and fast paced.

We are looking for a full time dental hygienist to join our practice that is motivated, energetic, a team player
and enjoys a working in a fast paced environment. Would consider potentially part time.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of one year
dental experience and that has a current radiographers license and anesthesia license. We offer a consistent schedule, typically
seeing patients Tuesday thru Friday with some occasional Mondays. If you are currently a dental hygienist
eager to learn the surgical side of dentistry or an existing hygienist in a periodontal office looking to make a
move then you may be who we are looking for! We have multiple positions available, so bring a friend for an
added bonus! Please send us your resume along with a cover letter.

Responsibilities
 Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
 Perform new patient evaluations.
 Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
 Assist the doctor with surgical periodontal procedures as needed
 Give post surgical instructions after surgical procedures
 Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
 Maintain flow of doctor’s schedule.
 Maintain and order inventory as assigned. Monitor and inventory level of supplies.
 Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.
 Follow OSHA and company safety policies and procedures.
 Clean and prepare operatory per guidelines prior to patient appointment.
 Sterilize equipment and operatories per OSHA guidelines.
 Current state license in Dental Hygiene and certification from an accredited dental hygiene
school
 Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role
Skills
 Make the patient the #1 priority; excellent chair side manner.
 Educate patients and address their questions and concerns.
 Knowledge and understanding of periodontal procedures and dental terminology sufficient to
perform the job successfully.
 Knowledge of dental charting software, ability to take high quality digital x-rays and photos and
able to learn new programs as necessary.
 Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.'
