Bundle up—it was a cool celebration! Our Gurwin Assisted Living residents at Gurwin Jewish - Fay J. Lindner Residences a flipper-tastic time at our Penguin Party with singer Mor Schwartz! Dressed in black & white, sipping milkshakes, and enjoying sweet treats, our flock was all smiles and good vibes!

Thank you, thank you very much! Our Gurwin Assisted Living residents were all shook up celebrating Elvis Presley’s birthday with a rockin’ 1950s diner social fit for the King himself!

From classic root beer floats and creamy milkshakes to Elvis’s favorite peanut butter & banana sandwiches, it was a hunka hunka burnin’ fun! Residents and staff donned their Elvis best, put their blue suede shoes to good use, tackled some Elvis trivia, and crooned their hearts out during karaoke.

It was a day of memories, music, and plenty of smiles — because at Gurwin, the King will always live on!

Our Gurwin Assisted Living residents were on the slopes for a Ski Lodge social right in our lobby! Everyone layered up, grabbed their winter gear and cozy blankets, and carved out time to warm up by the fireplace. With sweet treats and hot cocoa in hand, it was a perfect run of fun, laughter and lodge vibes. Check out all the fun they had—this event was definitely snow much fun!

We hosted a wonderful event on Tuesday with our Assisted Living residents at Gurwin Jewish - Fay J. Lindner Residences! “My Favorite Things” gave everyone the chance to bring a special item and share the story behind it with friends. From treasured keepsakes to meaningful memories, it was a beautiful way to connect, laugh and learn more about one another. Moments like these truly make our community feel like home.

As we close out 2025, we're celebrating residents like Genevieve Fedele—whose resilience, creativity and love for life inspire us every single day.

At 105, Genevieve continues to participate enthusiastically in our programs, sharing her favorite motto with staff and fellow residents: "I'm not old, I'm just getting older!"
