As we kick off our 50th year of service to the community we are excited to look back on the history of how we got here and that starts with Bradley Lucero Jr. our founder. Bradley was born in Denver in 1942, by 13 he had been kicked out of school and took to the streets.
This is a copy of one of his many arrest records that happened between then and when he finally decided to make a change in the direction his life was headed. That one decision in 1976 went on to change the future for thousands of individuals battling addiction.

A special shout-out to SSF Board Member Sheryl Goodman for being part of a powerful discussion panel and courageously sharing the story of her son, Ryan Goodman.
