Many families get creative when it comes to home care, and that’s okay.

One option we see often is hiring a caregiver for about 6 hours a day, while family members rotate and support during the remaining hours. This can be a great way to save money while still making sure your loved one gets the care, companionship, and structure they need.

Of course, this only works safely if your loved one does well at night and doesn’t require overnight supervision.
