๐ง Ever notice your horse peeing more during a therapy session?
This isnโt uncommon and itโs usually a good sign.
It often means the horse is relaxing and shifting into a parasympathetic (โrest and digestโ) state, allowing the body to start clearing normal fluid shifts and metabolic byproducts.
Even with proper care, hydration, and conditioning, the body can still deal with:
๐น Muscle tension
๐น Lactic acid + normal metabolic byproducts
๐น Fluid shifts from inflammation or mild lymphatic congestion
During an Acuscope + Myopulse session, weโre supporting the body in doing what itโs designed to do, just more efficiently.
โ
Supports lymphatic flow
โ
Helps release fascial restrictions
โ
Supports normal cellular function
โ
Encourages natural waste elimination
This is also a good reminder why I donโt prefer treating horses the same day they compete if theyโre on Lasix.. they already urinate more, and therapy can amplify that effect.
โก๏ธ Whether your horse is in full work or maintenance, regular therapy helps keep everything functioning the way it should.
