Although both juices and smoothies are made from fruits and vegetables, they serve different purposes and offer different benefits.

JUICES:

• Provide a quick boost of energy
• Nutrients are absorbed rapidly into the bloodstream

SMOOTHIES:
• Contain fiber from whole fruits and vegetables
• Help prevent blood sugar spikes
• Provide a slower, steadier release of nutrients

Both can be healthy choices — it just depends on your goals and preferences.
