It's Christmas week at Performance Health! We will have morning office hours on Christmas Eve, and will be closed on Friday, December 25th. Know that we have enjoyed connecting with you as we get closer to the holidays. Our patients are indeed like family and having YOU close means a great deal to us - especially as we prepare to celebrate in new and unfamiliar ways. We would like to wish you all the very best this season has to offer. We will be back in the office Monday, December 28th if you need us.

Our state’s contact tracers are working long hours to keep up with the increased number of positive cases of Covid-19 in New Hampshire. If you are a patient and you have recently tested positive, please call the office so that we might be able to get ahead of contact tracers by taking the necessary steps here at the office. In accordance with new state guidelines, we ask also that if you have been exposed to a positive case of COVID-19, that you reschedule your appointment in order to meet the 10 day quarantine requirement.

We definitely need at least two days to be properly thankful this year! Our office will close at 6pm tonight and will reopen 8am Monday morning. We would like to take this opportunity to wish our patients, friends and family a very Happy Thanksgiving. We are grateful for many things around here, especially all of you!

She’s back! And not a moment too soon. If you have been in the office at all over the past couple of months, you know our Physical Therapy waitlist is active and long. Sarah will be back treating patients Wednesday, October 14th! She has been busy at home being a Mom while also finding time for her professional and strength training mentorship programs. She has two on the go (programs AND daughters)! Sarah’s commitment to her continuing education even at the busiest of times is second to none. Call the office. Make an appointment. The countdown for Sarah’s return is on, and her schedule is filling quickly.

As Labor Day approaches, and families begin making plans for school and work we too are making plans for how best to keep our employees and patients safe in the coming weeks and months. We would like to give a huge shout out to Rob at Constant Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning for bettering our current HVAC system by tracking down and installing a UV light that will help eliminate pathogens like mold spores, bacteria, and viruses in the air that we breathe around here on the daily. Adding this step to the air recirculation process will give us all peace of mind. Evolving research shows that such UV filtration is effective against airborne microbes, so while we’re staying diligent on masks, handwashing, disinfecting surfaces, and minimizing numbers in the waiting room, this new-fangled system should help mitigate the spread of all sorts of germs as the weather gets colder. Wherever you are, stay healthy and well!

We have partnered with a new app that syncs with our EHR software to streamline processes from online booking to appointment reminders. He's a Dad! Our very own Dr. Kanoa King and his lovely wife Liz, welcomed their sweet new daughter Emery Luana into the world on Monday, March 9th. Dr. King will be home with his 'girls' this week and next. Looking forward to hearing all about his new life as a DAD! when he is back March 23rd.
