Insurance plans often reset or change their terms on January 1st. To help us keep things running smoothly and ensure your billing is accurate, we kindly ask all our families to refresh their insurance information.

Why update now? Even if your plan stayed the same, verifying your 2026 benefits early means:
✅ Less time at the front desk.
✅ No unexpected billing surprises.

😁 Did you know orthodontists recommend screening children around age 7?

An early evaluation can catch overbites, underbites, and crowding before they turn into bigger problems. 🦷✨

Orthodontic care often follows a two-phase approach:
➡️ Phase 1 (ages 8–11): guides jaw growth and creates space
➡️ Phase 2 (after age 12): finishes alignment for a healthy, confident smile

Early planning means simpler treatment and happier smiles! 😄

🥗 Diet plays a huge role in oral health!

Sugars and starches feed harmful bacteria, which produce acids that lead to tooth decay. Limiting these foods can make a big difference for your child’s smile. 🦷

Choose water-rich fruits and veggies like pears, celery, and carrots for snack time, and avoid sticky, sugary options like raisins. Try not to let kids snack all day — offer healthy choices at set times and brush afterward when possible.

Don’t forget calcium-rich foods like milk, cheese, leafy greens, and broccoli to help strengthen enamel and support growing teeth. 💪

Healthy eating = strong, happy smiles! 😄

Mouth sores, gum infections, brushing too hard, allergies, nutritional deficiencies, or even minor trauma can all lead to gum pain in kids. 🦷

Call a pediatric dentist if you notice severe pain, bleeding, fever, or pus. For at-home relief, try a cold washcloth or teething ring, gently massage the gums, and offer soft, cool foods like yogurt. ❄️🥣

Skip sugary treats and trust your instincts — if you’re concerned, we’re here to help. 💙

😎 Pre-teens may be busy, but their smiles still need attention!

Encourage brushing for a full two minutes, making sure every tooth surface gets clean. Daily flossing is a must — food stuck between teeth can lead to cavities and bad breath. 😬

If they play sports, a mouthguard helps protect their smile from injuries. And for kids with braces, good oral hygiene keeps teeth clean and breath fresh throughout treatment. ✨

Keep it cool. Keep it clean. 😁
