The halls of Presidential Oaks are beginning to sparkle again . . . twinkling lights, festive wreaths, and joyful laughter are filling the air. This week we are decorating our halls and making spirits bright from staff and residents to friends and family, everyone can help make this season special for their loved ones!

Traditions have the power to bring us closer together. For our residents, it is often hard to be away from their families and their celebrations. We strive to bring as many of their traditions to our home so everyone feels a sense of connection. The beautiful part of that is getting to share in new ways to enjoy this season. Stay tuned as we get ready to celebrate what makes this season so special at our historic home on Pleasant Street. Mark your calendars for A Festival of Trees on December 22! 🎄

Our dedicated staff continues to make every day feel safe, comforting, and full of heart, ensuring that everyone here feels Home for the Holidays.

🎄 Will you help us "Deck our Halls" this holiday season?! We are looking to make Presidential Oaks Merry and Bright for all of our residents. This year we are hosting a festival of trees in our beautiful and historic theatre space and we need your help!

🎄 We are looking for donations of reusable Christmas trees for our residents to decorate for the holidays. If you have any spare trees we would love to dust them off and put them to good use. Our residents will be decorating the trees as part of our holiday activities!

🎄 If you have a tree to donate, please call us at 225-6644 to coordinate drop off or to arrange pick up!

Our residents had a spooktacular time unleashing their inner witch during an evening craft activity led by our fearless Director of Nursing, Tammy, and our Infection Control Director, Lisa, who managed to infect everyone with a smile and some laughs! 🎃🧹

🍂🎉 Residents had an amazing time at the 2025 Fall Festival! From thrilling games to exciting prizes and a feast of snacks, there was something for everyone. The community came together to celebrate fall and create unforgettable memories together. 🍁🥳

Radio used to be the go-to source for news, music, and entertainment before smartphones and streaming took over. It all started in 1895 when Guglielmo Marconi discovered radio waves, paving the way for this iconic medium.

Fast forward to the 1920s, and radio broadcasting went from science experiments to actual shows people could listen to. The first commercial radio program aired on November 2, 1920, from KDKA in Pittsburgh, and it changed everything.

National Radio Day is all about ditching our screens and tuning in to the magic of radio. Give it a try – put down your phone, close your eyes, and let the stories, discussions, and music take you on a ride.

🇺🇸 Wishing all near and far a wonderful Independence Day! Enjoy your gatherings, picnics, families and friends. It is a beautiful day here in Concord, NH! It's a nice time to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. What better time to remember all the good and honorable things that make this nation special? Our freedom is priceless! Happy 4th!

It’s the little things in life that can bring a smile to our faces . . . A French manicure for Betty makes her feel pretty! Sometimes it’s a comforting meal with friends, or listening to the birds sing outside on a beautiful day! Maybe it even means getting a spare when bowling! 🎳

We all experience joy differently. What are the things that make you smile?! 😊

Well today is a scorcher, but yesterday’s car show was a smash hit! The car folks turned out with everything from pickups from the 40’s to souped up custom mopeds!

We managed to find some nice shady spots under the ancient oak to enjoy burgers and dogs when it got too hot in the sun.

Thank you to all the car show participants for coming out and making this a special day!
