Meet Our Care Manager: Kristy Morin, LSW

Kristy Morin, LSW, is a Care Manager with Deaconess Abundant Life Services. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology from the University of Maine, Orono.

As a licensed social worker, Kristy brings a broad and compassionate perspective to her work, having supported vulnerable individuals across a wide range of settings — from child protective services to nearly a decade in hospice care. Originally from Maine, she has lived and worked in Massachusetts since 2008, dedicating her career to serving individuals and families with empathy and professionalism.

Kristy is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and is deeply committed to advocating for older adults. Her experience spans long-term care, assisted living, and home-based services, where she focuses on promoting dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

Outside of work, Kristy enjoys cooking and baking (especially during the holidays), spending time with friends, watching medical and legal dramas, and taking on home improvement projects.

We are excited to welcome Kristy to our team and look forward to the positive impact she will make in our community.

Black History Month is a time to reflect, learn, and recognize the lasting impact of leaders, innovators, caregivers, educators, artists, and everyday heroes whose stories continue to inspire progress and understanding.

Over the past couple of weeks, we came together to celebrate the season and the incredible people who make Deaconess Abundant Life Services (DALS) so special.

We were honored to celebrate our caregivers, treating them to a delicious meal from Gold Coast Catering as a small thank-you for their hard work, compassion, and dedication throughout the year. 💙

We also celebrated our amazing Nurse Care Managers, scheduling team, and back-office staff, whose commitment behind the scenes helps ensure exceptional care every day.
