Happy National Picnic Day! We enjoyed a walk down to to Gerow Park and had lunch in their pavilion. Although a bit breezy, it was a beautiful afternoon!

We learned two new tabletop games this month: Kings in a Corner and the Left, Right, Center Dice game, and put our skills to the test with a Friday Casino Games Night, complete with pub snacks and dealer staff attire.

Many great musical performances so far this month—Programming Assistant Tom and residents reminisced with some classic sing-along tunes at our weekly Sip and Social, and two of our female musicians—Lynne Canavan on the violin and Alice Miller playing the flute. 🎻 🪈 🎶

What better way to welcome the spring weather than with an afternoon tea party, with specialty herbal teas, biscuits and tasty appetizers, residents came dressed up in their best spring hats and tea party attire. 🫖☕️

A wonderful and exciting weekend with a Red Sox home opener winning game on Friday, a special birthday bash for Fran turning 101 years old on Saturday, then an Easter Buffet lunch and a lovely Sunday afternoon flute concert. 🎶

Our two favorite entertainers performed last month—filling the musical hearts and souls of all. Thank you Dueling pianists Ethan Stone & Adam Bergeron for an exciting piano concert competition, as well as our monthly singer DJ Kelly for an engaging and fun show.

A great spirit week leading up to the SLR annual bash, residents and associates had a ball dressing up to our spirit themes each day!

We all felt lucky this week as we enjoyed several Irish expressive programs, from student Irish Step Dancers, to a piano concert and tasty St. Patrick’s day lunch & ending the week with a resident musical performance followed by a local creative arts dance recital from the students at McGowan Dance School. 💕 🍀

The red carpet rolled out into the Concord Park Cafe on Sunday to celebrate the stars and Oscar Nominees at our Academy Awards party with highlights of the movies and films nominated and lots of laughs & declicious treats!
