CRCHC was proud to attend Johnson C. Smith University’s 19th Annual Health and Career Fair for the third time. Our Community Outreach Navigators and HR Manager enjoyed connecting with students, sharing information about community health, and discussing career opportunities.

In celebration of Children’s Dental Health Month, CRCHC visited Sugar Creek Charter School to speak with second-grade students about healthy teeth habits. Dr. Ana Murillo, Assistant Dental Director, shared simple tips on brushing, flossing, and caring for growing smiles. Connecting with students in the classroom helps strengthen healthy habits and supports our community.

CRCHC CEO Don Holloman touches on the heart behind Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers and the deep passion that fuels its growth.

In 2006, CRCHC was founded by residents who believed their community deserved access to quality care. That belief sparked a movement. Don Holloman embraced that vision and, with a clear passion for expanding access to healthcare, helped transform it into something even greater.

What began as primary care expanded to include dental and behavioral health, broadening access for individuals and families across Rowan, Cabarrus, and Mecklenburg County. His commitment has always been rooted in one idea: healthcare should reach the people who need it most.

This is what serving with purpose looks like. Not just sustaining a mission, but advancing it with passion, intention, and heart.
