AFA Ob/Gyn offers high quality individualized care that is focused on the whole woman and not just "what is wrong". We provide this care through a unique collaboration of physicians, certified nurse midwives and nurse practitioners. We see the value in learning about each woman's personal wellness goals, care preferences, family history and establishing a trusting relationship. This is the foundation of the best health care. When we add the science of medicine, advanced medical care and access to new or alternative therapies that is when women have the opportunity to have the best care possible. All of our providers at AFA Ob/Gyn provide comprehensive well-woman care from pediatric gynecology to after menopause, because there is more after menopause! Our obstetric care offers family focused care to women of both high and low risk. Women who experience challenges in pregnancy, if they choose, are still able to see midwives in coordination with physicians including a maternal fetal medicine specialist within our office. We welcome and offer support to LGBTQ families, gestational carriers, women transferring their care into the United States from another country and those planning or considering adoption. Our goal is to provide you with the information and care to know you are supported and able to make the best decisions for yourself and your family.

The holidays are approaching!! 🎄
With Christmas less than a week away, we have updated our office hours for the week of December 22nd.
On Wednesday December 24th, we will be available up until 12pm.
Then Thursday and Friday, December 25th and 26th, we will be closed for Christmas and the day after.
Business hours will resume on Monday December 29th.
With the holidays affecting business hours, we apologize for any inconveniences, and hope you enjoy time with family and friends this holiday season!

Our Lab in Leominster will be closed at 1:00pm today due to weather. You may go through the lab at Emerson main campus. Our lab will reopen in Westford tomorrow at 7:30am. If you have questions please call 978-371-1396.

Meet: Emily Underwood, DNP, WHNP-BC.

Emily’s journey in Women’s Health started in Mass General Hospital as a Labor and Delivery Nurse. During this time, she realized her passions stemmed from supporting patients in their most vulnerable moments. Creating a space where they feel seen and heard.
Her passions for helping others lead her to achieving her dual degree as a Nurse Partitioner and Doctor of Nursing Practice to make her the amazing NP she is today!
We thank Emily for empowering women, and appreciate all you do for others this . ♥️
