We had the opportunity this weekend to wish a very Happy Retirement to our very own Vicky B!
For over 20 years, Vicky was the voice for Contra Costa Cardiology. She handled that large volume of calls with poise, compassion and expertise. Vicky was always a very loyal employee who you could depend on for anything.
Before JMH changed over to that call center system (yuck) when you called our office, 9 times out of 10, you spoke with Vicky!
All of us from the OG group of CCHeart, wish her the very best in this next chapter. She deserves all the great things that are coming her way!❤️❤️❤️

Cathy was our scheduler for 25+ years! Everyone knows Cathy, and Cathy knew everyone! Every patient who came around the corner looked for her sitting behind the counter, waiting to check them out and schedule their next visit with us!
Cathy is enjoying retirement too, spending time with her family and friends.
It was GREAT being able to visit with them both this weekend!

12/5/2015. Ten years ago today, Contra Costa Cardiology Medical Group closed its doors and became John Muir Cardiovascular Services.

What was once a thriving private practice with staff who were like family, doctors weren’t just bosses, but caring people who worked relentlessly for the good of their patients and staff.

We miss pretty much everything about CCCMG!
We continue to keep our memories of this amazing era alive and will treasure the friends and relationships we made along the way.

Thank you to everyone who crossed our paths.

We are devastated to learn of the passing of our beloved Dr Arie Van Gemeren.
He was great man, physician, colleague and friend. He made a difference in our world.
The CCCMG family is devastated with this loss.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Van Gemeren family and respect their privacy during this very difficult time.
We love you Arie and will miss you terribly.💔

After 38 wonderful years, our Founder of Contra Costa Cardiology Medical Group, Arie Van Gemeren M.D., F.A.C.C., will be retiring from practice at the end of December 2017. This is so well deserved! Our Papa!! He is starting the next chapter of his life.
