Hiking Club hit the trails for an incredible 6+ mile adventure at Morgan Territory Regional Preserve 🌿

Our hikers explored early wildflowers in bloom, spotted local wildlife, and spent time learning about the beauty of nature all around them. Most importantly, they shared appreciation for one another and enjoyed a meaningful, energizing experience together.

Nothing beats fresh air, movement, and community. 💚🥾

Kicking off our week with celebration, culture, and community! 🧧🐎

Our members started the 2026 Chinese New Year, the Year of the Horse; by welcoming a wonderful volunteer who taught us how to make homemade egg rolls and spring rolls from scratch! From prepping ingredients and carefully rolling each wrapper to frying them to golden perfection, everyone had a hands-on role in the kitchen.

Experiences like this bring people together, build cooking skills, and create meaningful connections through culture and food. Cheers to a year of strength, energy, and new opportunities ahead!

Sweet Week was filled with creativity, connection, and so many sweet moments! 🍪💐

From baking delicious treats to sharing tea, speed dating, laughter, and handmade creations, our members truly made this week special. Watching everyone come together, try new skills, and celebrate friendship is what Community Connections is all about. 💛

Sweet things happened today in Pastry Baking! 🍪🍓💝

Our members have been busy baking up double chocolate chocolate chip cookies, vanilla cookies topped with heart chocolates, and strawberry pastries in preparation for our upcoming Tea Party. From measuring and mixing to decorating with care, every treat is made with teamwork, creativity, and lots of love.

Our members spent the day exploring the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco—soaking in the sunshine, enjoying the beautiful weather, and stepping into the rich history behind the mouse that started it all. From early animation sketches to immersive exhibits, members engaged with storytelling, creativity, and innovation while learning how one idea can grow into something world-changing.

Animation Station is officially live; one of the newest groups in our brand-new Multimedia Department at ALC’s Learning Lab Media Studio!

Members are diving into digital illustration, animation, and visual storytelling using professional-grade equipment and software. From sketching original characters to learning the foundations of animation, this group is building real-world creative and vocational skills in a space designed just for them.

Our members had an amazing day exploring Clayton Valley Farms; meeting friendly animals, learning where food comes from, and soaking up the joy of being outdoors. Thank you Clayton Valley Farms for the tour and the opportunity. From feeding goats to discovering how farms operate, this visit blended nature, education, and hands-on fun in the best way.
