🎃 That’s a wrap on Spirit Week! 👻

We had an amazing time celebrating Halloween all week long; from crazy hair day to spooky games, and of course our Haunted House and Costume Contest!

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible scare actors and haunted house builders who brought the chills and thrills to life this year. 🙌 Special shoutout to our judges for taking on the tough job of picking our costume contest winners; there were so many creative looks! 🕸️

Most importantly, thank you to all our members for showing up with spirit, smiles, and spooky energy all week long. 💀🧡

We’re already counting down the days until next year’s Halloween Spirit Week! 🕷️🎃

🎃 Halloween Trivia Fun at ALC! 🧛‍♀️🧙‍♂️🦇

Our members put their Halloween knowledge to the test today with a spooky trivia showdown between the Scolding Skeletons, Vampires, Werewolves, and Howlween Hounds! 👻

After a close and laughter-filled game, the Howlween Hounds took the win! 🏆

Join us tomorrow for a competitive, fun and festive game of chicken toss and the popper game exclusively apart of our Spirit Week!

🎃 Clay Pumpkin Creations at ALC! 🍂

Our members got hands on this week shaping and sculpting their very own clay pumpkins; just in time for fall! Each piece was uniquely formed and detailed with care, showing off creativity, patience, and craftsmanship. From molding to texturing, members enjoyed the calming and rewarding process of bringing their pumpkins to life.

We can’t wait to see these get painted and displayed around our space for a festive touch of handmade art! 💛✨

Our members are stitching up creativity one thread at a time! From whimsical gnomes to floral designs, each embroidery piece tells its own story while building focus, patience, and creativity. 💐💬

There’s something special about slowing down, sharing laughs, and learning new techniques together. We love seeing everyone’s designs come to life; one stitch at a time! 💛

🌿 Tailored Day Services Spotlight 📸

Our member spent the day exploring photography in the ALC garden, capturing the bright colors of nature, a few friendly bugs 🐛 and learning how to frame the perfect shot! 📸

Through hands-on lessons in camera use and phototography editing, they’re developing valuable multimedia skills that connect directly to vocational pathways in photography and creative arts. 🌺✨

🌿 Nature & Creativity in Full Bloom! 🌿

Our members enjoyed a refreshing hike at Lime Ridge, taking in the beautiful fall scenery and connecting with nature. Afterwards, they channeled their inspiration into a Naturescape Art Project, creating stunning collages using leaves, flowers, and other natural materials gathered along the way.

From outdoor exploration to hands-on art, this activity combined wellness, creativity, and connection; the perfect way to celebrate the beauty of our local environment and our members’ artistic talents. 🌸🍂

Rise and shine with our Breakfast Club! ☀️

Members came together to make simple, healthy breakfasts, like rice cakes topped with peanut butter, bananas, and raspberries 🍌🍓 before heading out for a peaceful morning walk through one of our local community parks.

There’s nothing better than good food, fresh air, and great company to start the day off right! 💛

🎤✨ Karaoke Night was a hit!
Our member and staff kicked off the night with an epic duet that got the whole room singing along! Lights flashing, laughter echoing, the vibes were unbeatable. 💫🎶

Our members spent the weekend getting creative during our exclusive Paint & Sip event; where art, friendship, and fun came together! 🍷🎨

With bright colors, flowing creativity, and laughter all around, everyone painted their own version of a vibrant owl masterpiece. 🦉💛

It’s all about self-expression, community, and enjoying the moment together, one brushstroke (and sip!) at a time. 💫

Our members had a creative afternoon exploring perspective drawing and landscape painting! From pencil sketches to colorful brushstrokes, everyone brought their own imagination to life. 🌳☀️💙

Art sessions like these are more than just painting, they build confidence, focus, and connection while giving everyone the space to express themselves in their own unique way. We love watching our members learn new techniques and share smiles through creativity! 💛🖌️
