What an incredible presentation by Liz Dane on March 26th! Liz shared wonderful memories of growing up on a private zoo with animals, birds, and reptiles.

Her bond with Queenie the elephant was so strong that after 38 years apart, they were reunited and Queenie absolutely remembered her.

From waterskiing with elephants to performing on TV shows and campaigning with politicians, Liz and Queenie had amazing adventures together. Thank you for sharing your extraordinary story with us, Liz!

Our residents had a wonderful time learning scarf tying techniques with Linda Fraser on March 19th. Linda taught special knots and creative styling tricks that helped everyone add personality and flair to their outfits. The timing was perfect as we prepare for the upcoming Easter Parade. Our residents are making a real environmental impact! In April 2022, Linda Ottery and Betty Sweet initiated HHH's participation in Trex Corporation's NexTrex soft plastic recycling program. Since then, over 40 resident volunteers have collected and recycled more than 11,000 pounds of soft plastic - items like produce bags, bread bags, bubble wrap, and plastic mailers that would otherwise end up in landfills.

For their efforts, HHH has earned five Trex benches made from recycled materials, now placed throughout both campuses for everyone to enjoy. Volunteers are always welcome to join this important initiative!

What a wonderful St. Patrick's Day celebration we had yesterday! Our dining area was transformed with festive decorations including pots of gold, four-leaf clovers, and Irish flags, setting the perfect scene for an authentic Irish pub-themed meal. The menu featured traditional favorites like Mulligan stew, bangers and onion, and Bailey's Irish cream puff for dessert. Thank you to Jane Strablizky for capturing these festive moments from our celebration!
