Join me at 6pm on December 12 for a practice to celebrate the legacy of Geeta Iyengar!

In honor of Geeta Iyengar’s birthday, IYNAUS invites you for a special community celebration.

Historically, Geetaji’s Friday night classes at RIMYI were a cherished highlight for students around the world. In that spirit, gather with your community on Friday, December 12 at 6:00 pm ET for a live audio stream of one of her classic classes on Zoom.

The audio will be paired with live demonstrators on screen, allowing everyone to follow along and experience her teaching in real time. We encourage studios to open their doors, welcome students in, and practice together in community, just as many did during her beloved classes.

We look forward to celebrating Geetaji’s life, legacy, and profound contributions with you.

We are one human family, and the day WILL come when we all come to understand this reality. In the meantime, let us all stay strong in the face of hatred and be gentle with ourselves.
