We recently had the honor of assisting a family with shipping their loved one to El Salvador. They had contacted several other funeral homes but were told the process could take weeks—even months.

Thankfully, they reached out to us. Because we regularly handle international shipping, we were able to guide them through the process efficiently and with care. Their loved one was able to be placed on a flight within 10 days, bringing comfort and peace of mind during such a difficult time.

The family later shared this beautiful photo from the funeral service in El Salvador. It meant so much to see their loved one honored in such a meaningful way, surrounded by family and tradition.

It’s always our priority to provide timely, compassionate service when families need it most.

Today was Support Local Thursday at Diablo Valley Funeral Home, and Hannah made a great choice—Jack’s Restaurant & Bar for lunch!

The food was absolutely amazing, everything prepared to perfection. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

Support Local Thursday! 🌮

This week, Elaina was the big winner and chose Tacos El Patron—and she absolutely nailed it. If you’re looking for delicious Mexican food, this is the spot. Their birria was outstanding, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.

The staff was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even better. On top of that, they’ve got a full bar—perfect for grabbing a margarita after a long day.

Another great choice and a great way to support a local business!

Today we continued supporting local businesses with Mateo’s pick for lunch from Slow Hand BBQ. The staff greeted us with a smile and took extra care in preparing our lunch. Great service and a delicious meal all around! 🍗🥗🍔

A little late posting, but last Thursday Heather chose Skipolini’s for lunch. The pizza, sandwiches, and salads were amazing! Skipolini’s is a family-owned business that’s been serving the community for over 50 years. Great choice, Heather! 🥗🍝🍕

On our quest to support local businesses, Casey was our Thursday lunch winner this week and chose Crumbs. We all enjoyed a delicious meal—thank you to the wonderful staff at Crumbs in Pleasant Hill for taking such great care of us. Great choice! 🍔🥗🍳

Today we’re spreading a little extra luck (and a lot of sweetness) throughout our community. We picked up some festive green, decorated donuts and are delivering them to several amazing local businesses we’re grateful to have around us.
