🌼Día de los Mu***os, or Day of the Dead, is a time to honor and celebrate the lives of our loved ones who have passed away. It is not a day of sorrow, but a celebration of love that continues beyond death.

Families create Ofrendas, or altars, decorated with photos, candles, marigolds, and favorite foods to welcome the spirits home. Each symbol has meaning — the marigolds guide their way, candles light their path, and food and water offer comfort after a long journey.

Through music, memories, and togetherness, we keep their spirits alive — reminding us that those we love never truly leave us.🌼

All are invited to attend our celebration on Monday, November 3 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Diablo Valley Funeral Home. If you are unable to attend, the event will be available to view via livestream at the link below. A recording of the service will also remain available for later viewing.

We recently installed a new AV system at Diablo Valley Funeral Home. Our staff participated in a training session today. The staff at Donut King in Pleasanr Hill graciously prepared a delicious breakfast for everyone.
