I specialize in acne scarring, pigmentation reduction, non-invasive face lifts, facial contouring, derma planing, micro needling, radio frequency, cold therapy. I first fell in love with skin care because of a teacher I had, she made me want to learn and try new things, be confident in my skills , and own who I am, from there it was endless possibilities…
I like to mix different machines, peels, masks, and products to get results. When it comes to your face I like to hear what you think you need to change or fix or prevent and have a discussion on ways to get you there, then I will tell you what I see, we often are our own worst critics, and mirrors are our biggest enemy, we knit pick and obsess over the littlest things, I know this because it's what I tend to do too, yes I am human, I am honest with you and don't pretend to be something I am not, I know my insecurities but I also know that beauty is not only skin deep . Time to break the bad habits and see our inner and outer beauty come together. For me personally skin care is magic, I love the way skin comes to life at the tips of my fingers. I love all aspects of my industry, I think it's the best! I am a hard worker who is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals with treatments and products.I am a C.I.D.E.S.C.O diplomat, which means I have advanced training in skincare(1500 hours compared to 600). If you would like to experience an out-of-this-world facial, with lasting results, and that will be relaxing at the same time, you should come see me. I love challenging myself with thinking outside the box. Let's take those baby steps together and get your goals accomplished, let's see where your skin can go. My philosophy on skincare, simple is better, my goal is to create creams and serums for you, I will add different things in for different people, everyone's skin craves different things, and I want to satisfy your skin's needs. so that way you only have a day serum, day cream, eye cream, spf and a night cream or just serums, or just creams. I also want to make facials more realistic for people and not to have money become a reason not to treat yourself, let's make it an attainable goal. When you mix facials and products together, your skin becomes happier, free and glowing. I always tell clients that when you do both, it's a happy marriage because in order for it to work both sides must be happy. If you just do facials, that's good, but don't you want your results to last longer? If you just use products, that's a start, but if you are not properly exfoliating, you are wasting your money, they just sit on top and never truly go to where they are suppose to go, think about how oil and water don't mix, that's what not properly exfoliated skin looks like.

Let’s talk about pigmentation 🚫

Here’s how to distinguish pigmentation from melasma :

▪️Hyperpigmentation▪️
A broad term used to describe various conditions in which a patch of skin becomes significantly darker than the surrounding skin in the same area. This term encompasses specific conditions such as liver spots, freckles, and melasma.

While different forms of hyperpigmentation can be attributed to factors such as acne scarring, medications, or inflammation from other medical conditions, the primary cause of hyperpigmentation is sun exposure. Untreated skin exposed to harmful UV rays from the sun can result in damage ranging from benign freckles to more serious conditions like skin cancer.

▪️Melasma▪️
Unlike other forms of hyperpigmentation, that affect men and women, melasma is distinguished by hormonal changes in addition to sun exposure. Due to this hormonal component, melasma is commonly known as “the mask of pregnancy” as it is more frequently observed in pregnant women.

Melasma primarily affects the face by causing dark patches on areas like the chin, cheeks, nose, upper lip, or other parts of the head. Not harmful, the visibility of these dark patches can sometimes cause emotional discomfort in social situations.

Melasma may resolve rapidly for some individuals, while for others it may take longer. Treatment may need to be ongoing for certain individuals to prevent the return of melasma.

❗️Recommendations❗️
I recommend you do a variety of treatments such as chemical peels, facials, micro needling, or lasers. They work wonders on sun damage. It is important to incorporate sunscreen, anti-aging serum, brightening serums, and acids into your skincare routine at home.

Like so many, I too struggle with pigmentation and hormonal melasma. I am human and want to share that estheticians experience these challenges as well.
