Every weekday morning, while most of Cabarrus County is just getting started, the kitchen at Cabarrus Meals on Wheels is already hard at work. 🍳
Inside our 3,000 sq ft commercial kitchen, our incredible culinary team prepares fresh, nutritious meals from scratch, carefully planned and thoughtfully packed to fuel seniors and children throughout our community.
Before 10:00am, 900 meals are ready to go out the door.
That includes:
🥗 Hot, balanced meals for our homebound senior neighbors
🥪 Breakfasts and lunches prepared in partnership with Save the children - Head Start & Early Head Start North Carolina
📦 Meals carefully portioned, labeled, and ready for delivery
It’s more than food. It’s nourishment, independence, and care, all prepared with heart before most of us finish our first cup of coffee.
We’re proud of what happens in our kitchen each morning. And we’re grateful for the supporters, volunteers, and partners who make it possible to serve so many, so early, every single weekday.
