When working on genealogy taking place before 1850 when the full household was listed is difficult. I was recently helping search for the parents of a great great grandfather. Through dna test matches we were able to find the right part of the family but could not confirm. Of course, we are searching for a will and more proof, but the good news is, we did confirm a relationship to a vice president and also a famous revolutionary war hero. It has been very interesting, and we will continue on with the search.
