This is our 30th Anniversary Year. We would hope our reputa-tion is what has brought us to this year. This is the time of year when a lot of us realize we have a concern about our loved ones. We need to make that decision “that it’s time to make the move for our loved ones from their independent living to some supervised setting.” It is never easy to accept the concept that they are unable to care for their selves and need to depend on someone else. Our home is not an institution but a homey setting, which strives to make this transition much smoother. THE CLOSEST ALTERNATIVE TO HOME
1. Our rates for the private are $70.00/da.; 2 bed room are $65.00/da.; 3 bed room are $60.00/da. The facility is all on one floor, with bathrooms, shower, dining area, sitting rooms as well as the bedrooms. Ramps on both the front and rear. Exit doors are keypad locked. Park across the street with picnic facilities, benches, etc. Includes, 24 hr. care. All ADL’S assisted with. Assisted with shower or bath each day with clean clothes from skin out. Laundry done. 3 balanced meals a day with snacks as needed.
2. The cost of hair care: with a beautician that comes in every other week. $10.00 a set, $10.00 a cut and $35.00 for a perm. This lady had been with us 24 years.
3. The cost of diapers if and when needed.
4 The medications. Dr. Hunt on staff; 24 hr. on call. Visits monthly and more if needed. Has been with us for 4 years. Formerly Dr. Kim had been with us for 21 years. Dr. Williams, Podiatrist. He has been coming here 3 1\2 years, taking over Dr. Rung’s practice when she retired; she had been coming for about 12 years. Licensed by the state for 12 residents. Total checks by the state fire marshall, health dept., sprinkler check, fire extingquishers check, exterminator monthly. City Fire Dept.check
