We would like to officially announce that the funeral home is back open for viewings and visitations!

From July 31st when the fire occurred, this has been our main goal to be able to get our doors back open for viewing and visitation. While we were able to hold arrangement conferences and meet with families still in the funeral home, we knew viewing would be impossible.

We can’t thank our neighbors at the Apostolic Holiness Church for their kindness and support for opening their doors to us without hesitation. We remember Pastor Upton’s words to us the day of the fire, “Use my church for any viewings and services you have. I want you to keep being able to serve the Community.” And with that, we were able to.

We can’t thank our Community and the families we have served enough as well for their understanding and support – from the day of the fire to the days after, clear up until now and into the future. We are so humbled and blessed.

To all our colleagues who reached out to help us in any way they could – thanks will never be enough.

We continue to thank our amazing staff, especially Vinny, and to our construction workers and friends at Beal Family Construction for working so diligently to make everything perfect. And to our families who have dealt with the frustrations right along with us.

Construction will now continue in front of the oldest part of the funeral home – including the outside.

We have blocked those areas off to allow the construction workers to continue working throughout the next months to bring together our vision, which was so difficult to see at the beginning when a waterfall of water was pouring through our ceilings into our arrangement room and black smoke filled the air throughout.
From tragedy comes a light. Sometimes a light that is difficult to see, but thanks to all those who support us and continue to support us, that light glows the brightest for us.

We ask everyone who is coming to the funeral home – whether to attend visitation or services, arrangements, and so on to please respect all our neighbors. We have our upper lot for parking which is on the side the funeral home is on, and then our larger lower lot is across the street right next to Dr. Esposito's office.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Dennis & Bethany

11/20/2025

Today is Children's Grief Awareness Day.
This day is designed to help us all become more aware of the needs of grieving children — and of the benefits they obtain through the support of others.
Children's Grief Awareness Day is an opportunity to make sure that grieving children receive the support they need.
💙🦋
Why is this day important and why do we raise awareness for grieving kids and teens?
Many people don’t realize that it takes most children much longer to deal with their grief than we expect and that the amount of inner turmoil, invisible to most, is much more intense than we have any idea of. We raise awareness so that people will realize that even if there is no outward sign of inner turmoil, those storms can still be raging inside a grieving child’s heart.
We raise awareness so that people will understand that a grieving child can't just "get over it"—not in any set time period, not by any act of their own will—and that there's no reason that they should just "get over it."
We raise awareness in order to help people learn ways they might help a grieving child they happen to know, now or in the future.
