Green Bailey Gross Jr., 77 of Titusville, Florida formally of Richmond, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. He was born on December 8, 1947 in Harlan County, Kentucky to Green Bailey Gross Sr. and India Merritt Gross.
Green was a diesel mechanic for National Truck and Parts in New Paris for 30 years before retiring.
He was a member of the Vintage Wheels Car Club in Richmond.
He has a lifelong passion for racing car, especially late models at the dirt tracks. The roar of the engines, the thrill of competition and the community he found at the track brought him endless excitement and friendships. Alongside racing, he had a deep appreciation for antique cars and motorcycles. He was a devoted family man; he found great joy in watching his children and grandchildren grow and celebrating their accomplishments and simply being present in their lives. His family was the center of his world.
Green is survived by his children, Tommy (Valeria) Gross, Michael (Tanya) Milliron and Lisa (Mark) Turner; his grandchildren, Christopher Milliron, Austin Milliron, Zachary Milliron, Jacob Milliron, Emily Turner, Ariel Turner, Payten Gross and Emily Gross; many great grandchildren; his significant other, Debra Swearingen; his brothers, Hank Gross, Gary Gross and Bill Gross; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Green was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bud Gross; his sisters, Norma Turner and Carolyn Estep.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home, 310 N. Main St., Liberty from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Lovett officiating. Burial will follow in Elkhorn Cemetery.

Carol L. McLaughlin of West College Corner, IN passed way unexpectedly on November 24, 2025, at the age of 72. Carol was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 10, 1953, the daughter of the late Gerald and Juanita Cornelius Robinson.
At the Union County Courthouse on September 7, 1974, she was united in marriage to Dan McLaughlin. They enjoyed 51 years of marriage prior to her death and were blessed with two lovely daughters.
Carol was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother that enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafting, sewing, and working in the yard. She was known for her immaculate housekeeping, planning and organizational skills, and her DIY home improvements projects. She had a thirst for knowledge, always researching and helping with her daughters’ school projects and assignments. Most of all she treasured the time she spent with her family. She had previously worked as a custodian for the Union County School Corporation and when she was younger she worked outside of the home at College Corner Pharmacy as a clerk and Capital Varsity as a seamstress.
Her love and memories will be cherished by her husband, Dan; daughters, Sara (Jeremy) Alcorn and Erin (Nathan) Haley; sisters, Gail Marbut, Peggy Feller and Amy Robinson; and her grandchildren, Catherine Alcorn, Jameson Marcum and Justin Alcorn.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Terry Fulton and Kelley Hickey.

Robert Lee Moore, formerly of Connersville, passed away on Friday November 21, 2025, at Fairway Village in Indianapolis at the age of 93. Robert was born on August 12, 1932, in Pond Lick, Jackson County, Kentucky, the son of Claude D. and Bessie Helton Moore.
At the Full Gospel Holiness Church in Connersville, he was united in marriage to the former Hazel Cain on December 19, 1953. They shared 46 years together prior to her death on March 24, 2000. They were blessed with two lovely daughters.
Robert was a truck driver and eventually Terminal Manager for Fraley and Schilling Trucking from 1970 through 2015. After retirement, he transported ESPN equipment for Survivor favorite Rupert Boneham events.
He enjoyed the simple pleasures of riding motorcycles, camping, boating, water skiing, hunting and fishing. He had traveled to all the states but Hawaii only because they had yet to build a bridge. Robert never knew a stranger and was known to be fun loving and onery.
His memories will be loved and cherished by his daughters, Ingrid Baney and Vickie (Tom) Snyder; sister, Euldean Miller; grandchildren, Travis (Claudia) Banks, Nichole (Denise Stephen) Banks, and Jeremy (Alexis) Combs; two step grandsons, Chad (Ashley) Snyder and Ryan (Brandy) Snyder and their families; great grandchildren, Ashton (Morgan) Harmon, Taylor (Cody) Steele, and Adaline Combs; a great-great granddaughter, Olivia Harmon, as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Bill Moore, Chester Moore and Jesse Moore and sisters, Inez Cowing, Pearlie Ford, Doris Moore, Lorene Seals and Christean Waddell.
Funeral services will be held at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W 8th Street, Connersville, on Wednesday November 26, 2025, at 1:00 pm. Family and friends may gather and share memories from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Robert will be laid to rest at Dale Cemetery.

Hebron Bowling finished his earthly journey and began walking the streets of gold on November 20, 2025, at the age of 74. He was born in Laurel County, Kentucky on July 26, 1951, one of 16 children born to Taylor and Lela Hammons Bowling.
On November 23, 1968, Hebron was united in marriage to the former Dixie Hawkins. He was a devoted member of Bethel Apostolic Church. Hebron was simple man that was devoted to taking care of Dixie and their son, Anthony. He retired from Ford/Visteon after 25 years of service and went on to work at NSK in Liberty for several years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and maintaining his yard. He valued his faith and family above all.
His devotion and love will be cherished by his wife of 57 years, Dixie and their son Anthony. He will be lovingly missed by his sisters, Alla Lee Hamilton, Sue (Elem) Wohlwend, Grecia Hamilton and Bethel Darlene Lucas; brothers, Paul (Carolyn) Bowling, David (Fay) Bowling, Caleb (Fran) Bowling, Philip (Lisa) Bowling, and James Micah (Sheila) Bowling; a special niece, Kim Pegg as well as many other nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was welcomed into heaven by his daughter, Patricia Bowling; grandson, Matthew Bowling; sisters, Lorene Rush and Dorcus Bowling; and brothers, Walter Bowling, Donald Bowling, John D. Bowling and Benjamin Bowling.

Raymond E. Applegate passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday November 19, 2025 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis at the age of 70. He was born on November 29, 1954. Raymond was one of five children to the late Paul William and Thomasine Virginia Sheridan Applegate.
After his school days, Raymond enlisted in the United States Army, where he served his country for several years. When he returned from his service time he went to work in the construction industry, where he worked as a stone mason. Raymond was a long time employee of B.A. Stone Company in Hamilton, Ohio, he greatly enjoyed working side by side with his brothers.
He went on to marry the former Alice May Frye. Together they raised 3 children.
Raymond was known to be a true workaholic, he loved what he did, and he enjoyed nothing more than putting in the time and effort to support his family. When he was not working he adored spending time with his beloved family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed relaxing while playing a game of pool with friends. He also liked catching his favorite western show on TV or becoming informed by the local news. Raymond’s most prized possession was his family and he loved nothing more than to spend time with them. He will sorely missed by all who he adored.
Along with his wife of 40 years, Alice, he is survived by his family; Candida Faye Canada, Jaydynn Parks, Tessa Parks, Osilas Kenneth Faye, David Applegate, Jeffrey Raymond (Tiffany) Frye, Aleena Frye, Ameela Frye, Jeffrey Frye II, Aveera Frye, Jovetta Richardson, Preston Frye, Frank Waller, 7 bonus grandchildren and 4 bonus great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his brother William “Bud” (Kathy) Applegate, his brothers-in-law Jimmy (Lorna) Frye, Jerry Frye, and his sister-in-law Lora (Frank) Wilson.
Along with his parents, Raymond his preceded in death by his daughter Gloria Applegate, his siblings; Donald “Butch” Applegate, Darlene Applegate Lewis, Mary Applegate Wells, his in-laws; Preston and Hazel Frye, and a grandson Franklin Waller.

Charles E. Russell of Connersville passed away on November 14, 2025, at Reid Healthcare in Richmond at the age of 68. Charlie was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on October 5, 1957, the son of Albert and Ninnie Abner Russell.
For over 20 years he worked at Ready Tool and Die/Crown. He also worked at National Metal for a few years. Charlie was an artist that loved to paint, draw and woodworking. He enjoyed being outdoors working in his yard and flower gardens.
He is survived by his children, Tracy Grimes, Courtney (Wiley) Roberts, Heather (Charlie) Lloyd, Brian (Mary) Russell, Ryan Russell and Chris Russell; a sister, Stacey (Greg) Collett; grandchildren, Austin, Tyler, Zach, Sierra, Brianna, Hunter, Jaden, Mason, Charley-Ann, Jaxon, Bentley and Raylan; great granddaughters, Sariyah and Katerina; his first wife, Kathleen Evans and a daughter-in-law, Brooke Russell.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn White and a great granddaughter, Brooklee.

Joy Moore of Richmond passed away on Tuesday November 18, 2025, with her family by her side at the age of 69. Joy was born on March 22, 1956, in Connersville, the daughter of the late Alfred and Viola Terry Moore.
Joy was a loving sister, mother, aunt, and grandmother that was raised in local Pentecostal churches. She enjoyed swimming, playing card games, flower gardening, and cooking. She was known for her homemade meat loaf and potato soup. Most importantly, Joy loved spending time with and caring for her family.
Those she leaves behind to love and cherish her memories include her children, Amanda (James) Blackburn, Prospera (Brandon) Cole and Charles Fredrick Hill, Jr.; siblings, William (Nancy) Moore, Joyce (Donald) Gray, and Becky Moore; grandchildren, Patience Blackburn, Chloe Blackburn, Cameron Cole, Cayden Cole, Mason Hill and Aniya Hill; her former husband, Rigo Moreno; special niece, Leslie Hammond, as well as several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Burchell Moore, Elbert Moore, Connie Moore, Lora Mae Hammond Napier, and Bonnie Mitchell.

Rodney E. Hardy of Connersville passed away on Friday November 14, 2025, at The Springs of Richmond at the age of 79. Rodney was born on September 28, 1946, in Connersville, the son of the late Francis A. and Thearis M. Cordray Hardy.
He graduated from Connersville High School in 1964 and went to work at Root’s Blower. In 1966 he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he attained the rank of Sergeant . He was honorably discharged in March of 1970.
After returning from the Air Force, he returned to work at Root’s Blower where he retired in 2009 after 45 years. When he wasn’t at work you could find him relaxing by his favorite fishing spot, reading or working in his flower gardens.
Rodney is survived by his children, Cary (Lori) Hardy and Gary (Jenny) Hardy; brother, Eric (Linda) Hardy; grandchildren, Emily (AJ) Fullenkamp, Annalyn (Eric) Adams and Sydney Hardy, as well as his great grandson, Henry Fullenkamp.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Dixie Cutting and Carol Rigsby.
Keeping with Rodney’s wishes, cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Everett E. “Gene” Hunter went home to be with the Lord on November 13, 2025, at the age of 90. The oldest of ten children, he was born on May 25, 1935, to Everett and Marceline Bostic Hunter.
Gene spent most of his life in Fayette County. His childhood was spent on a farm north of Glenwood with his parents and grandparents. Years later, his parents farmed south of Bentonville where they raised several acres of tomatoes for various canning factories. In 1950 the family moved to Connersville. Gene went to school during the day and worked nights at Porcelain Steel. He also worked for Rex, the lower Philco Freezer Plant and Roots Blower. He retired after over 35 years from D & M/WCI and then went to work for Johnson Carpet Cleaning for 8 years.
On April 27, 1957, Gene married the love of his life, Shirley Simpson, at the Grand Avenue United Methodist Church. They shared 62 years together prior to her death on July 1, 2019. They were long time members of Calvary Baptist Church. He and Shirley enjoyed their many trips to Branson, Missouri. Gene had a passion for old tractors and old cars, of which he owned several at one time.
Gene’s love and memories will be cherished by his daughter, Jeanna (Mike) Mitchell; sons, Marty (Kim) Hunter and Tom (Sue) McHugh; a brother, Dale (Debbie) Hunter; grandchildren, Chad (fiancé, RaChelle) Mitchell, Brandy (Shawn) Washler and Libby (fiancé, Steve) McHugh: and great grandchildren, Parker Mitchell, Savannah Mitchell, Carson Washler, Dakota Ball, Andrew Alvarado and Cole Alvarado.
In addition to his parents and loving wife, he is preceded in death by an infant daughter, Vickie Jean; brothers, Mike Hunter and Jack Hunter; sisters, Donna Carlton, June Bowling, Carolyn Bowling, Bonita Steele and two infant sisters; brothers-in-law, Tilford Bowling, Granville Bowling, Jack Steele and Dallas Carlton.
Funeral services for Gene will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 309 W 24th Street, Connersville on Monday November 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Family and friends may gather from 12:00 noon until the hour of the service at the church. Gene will be laid to rest next to Shirley at Dale Cemetery.

Randy Joe Bunch Jr. of Connersville passed away unexpectedly on Sunday November 9, 2025 at the age of 55. Randy was commonly known as “Tiger” by those who loved and adored him. He was born on April 2, 1970 in Connersville, the son of Randy Joe Bunch Sr. and the late Carolyn Cole.

Randy was a graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School, the class of 1989. Shortly after graduating Randy enlisted in the United States Army, where he served for 3 years as a Specialist. Randy entered the construction industry after his time in the service. He worked tirelessly for many years becoming an accomplished carpenter.

Tiger had one of the biggest hearts, he made sure that people knew they were loved and cared for by him. He adored spending time with people, especially his family, whether they were having a barbeque pitch-in or playing corn hole as a group. He enjoyed taking the time to relax and travel. He was a huge NASCAR fan, his favorite driver being Jeff Gordon. He was a faithful supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tiger loved his music, and the louder it was the better. Tiger was the type of man that considered everyone he met as family, he will be sorely missed by all his family.

Randy is survived by his father, Randy Joe Bunch Sr, sister, Sharon (Kelly) Pitcher, daughter, Kristina (Ryan) Ciula, nieces; Kelsey Rummel, Kirstin (Jake) Powers, Payton (Aries) Rummel and nephews, Clayton Pitcher and Chase Pitcher. He will missed greatly by his childhood friends Doyle Bergen and Shane Ritter, special family members; Renee (Allen) Lephew, Tim (Kelley) Bunch and a special nephew, Dylan (Jessica) Edwards. His memories will live on in his granddaughter Chloe Montgomery and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews and all of his extended family.

In addition to his mother, Carolyn, he is preceded in death by his brother, Keith Bunch, aunt, Tina Fraley and uncle, David Bunch.
