Congratulations Karen Leach, Social Enrichment Director, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.
Hickory Creek at Connersville is pleased to recognize Karen Leach as the 2025 Quest for Excellence winner. Ms. Leach is a CNA. and has served as Activity Director for the past eight years. Ms. Leach’s tenure at this facility spans 17 years, including previous experience in long-term care alongside her mother and sisterin-law at the Hickory Creek building in the late 70’s & 80’s. She demonstrates a deep commitment to compassionate care, readily offering support to residents, families, and colleagues.
Our community received numerous nominations from resident families highlighting Ms. Leach’s exceptional dedication. She consistently goes above and beyond ensuring individual resident needs are met, communicating effectively with families and proactively mentoring new staff.
Ms. Leach is a source of spiritual support, often sharing prayers and well wishes with colleagues. She often states “My work is a calling, not a job” reflecting her embodiment of our core values of CARE.
Collaborating and working alongside Ms. Leach is an exceptionally positive experience for everyone. Her enthusiasm and uplifting spirit positively impact everyone she encounters. We hold Ms. Leach in the highest regard and are grateful for her numerous contributions, which elevate the experience for all those around her.
