The Carriage Inn Sassy Songsters spread the love with a special Valentine’s concert for the Carriage Inn Conroe residents. Their heartfelt songs and cheerful harmonies created a warm, joyful atmosphere that truly captured the spirit of the season.

Residents enjoyed singing along, clapping, and sharing smiles as the music filled the room. It was a wonderful reminder of how music brings people together and makes moments like these so meaningful.

The Carriage Inn Conroe residents’ pool tournament continues to grow, and the competition is getting better each week. What started as a small friendly game has turned into a lively tournament filled with strategy, laughter, and plenty of good-natured rivalries.

It’s been wonderful to see more residents joining in, cheering each other on, and sharpening their skills at the table. The energy, camaraderie, and sportsmanship on display make this one of our most popular ongoing activities.

The Carriage Inn Conroe residents enjoyed a classic outing to Whataburger, where good food and even better laughs were on the menu. From favorites made just the way they like them to plenty of table conversation, it was a trip everyone enjoyed.

A special laugh came courtesy of Ms. Allie, who made sure to bring home extra food for her friend Ms. Kassie, who couldn’t join us this time. Because true friendship means never letting someone miss out on Whataburger.

We’re already looking forward to the next tasty adventure.

The Carriage Inn Conroe residents recently enjoyed an incredible evening at the Crighton theatre, attending Stage-Right Theatre Company’s powerful production of "Of Mice and Men".

There is one more weekend of shows, so we highly recommend that you go.

The vision and direction of Melody Montez brought this timeless story to life in a moving and unforgettable way. A special callout goes to the two leads for their truly brilliant performances—Jacob Hoffpauir as George and Lucas Phillips as Lennie—Jacob Hoffpauir’s portrayal of George powerfully brought to life the often-unseen struggle faced by those who love and care for someone with diminished mental capacity. His performance captured the constant tension between the longing to escape toward an easier, more successful life and the deep sense of love, duty, and responsibility felt toward those who depend on you because they cannot care for themselves. Lucas Phillips’s portrayal of Lennie was authentic and deeply genuine. Lennie is a role that can easily fall into cliché, but Lucas avoided that entirely, instead bringing the character to life through thoughtful nuance and carefully chosen details. His performance felt real, human, and heartfelt—it was truly a pleasure to witness.

It was a meaningful night of storytelling, talent, and community that our residents thoroughly enjoyed.
