Knowing what not to say when opening a senior living conversation with a loved one is essential, but an approach where everyone feels seen and heard can make all the difference. When discussing this important transition with a loved one, communicating with empathy, clarity, and concern can convey a great deal. Not only does this affirm a loved one’s ability to make decisions about their own needs and independence, but it also confirms your commitment to supporting their health, safety, and overall well-being. The Carriage Inn Conroe residents had a wonderful evening attending The Players Theatre production of The Christmas Carol Musical. It was a pleasure seeing the familiar faces of Kim Lambright and Matt Wehring on stage. Ms. Kim has performed at Carriage Inn Conroe multiple times before, and our residents have enjoyed seeing Matt in several productions, including West Side Story and The Addams Family Musical. The evening became even more special when two cast members recognized Resident Mary S., as they had worked together during their years in education. Moments like these make our outings truly meaningful.

The show runs for two more weekends, and our residents highly recommend that you don’t miss it.
