Update on Brenda 💕

She made it to the ICU around 8:30 last night after a long 12-hour surgery. We are so grateful to say we made it through the first night. It was definitely a busy one with frequent (every 15-minute) assessments, but she looks good this morning.

Today we’re looking forward to her finally getting some food and… not quite as excited about getting up into the chair 😅, but onward and upward.

Thank you all so much for the continued prayers, love, and positive energy. We feel it and appreciate it more than you know. ❤️

✨ Brenda Update ✨
As many of you know, it has been a whirlwind few months for our family. I realized I haven’t shared an update in a while, and so many of you have been walking alongside us with messages, fundraisers, and endless support — thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We are beyond grateful to share that Brenda has done incredibly well in her breast cancer recovery. Her pathology has remained clear, and she did not require chemotherapy or radiation. 🙏💗 We could not have asked for a greater blessing.

Today, she is back in the operating room undergoing her bilateral DIEP flap reconstruction. This is a long 10–12 hour surgery, and she will be in the ICU for several days as she begins healing. We ask that you send her every ounce of positive energy, prayers, and good vibes — she will feel them, and they truly do matter. ✨

I will continue to update everyone as she progresses and I’ll be sharing your messages with her as she recovers. Thank you to every single person who has reached out, checked in, donated, prayed, and loved us through this journey. Our community has held us up in ways we will never forget.
