Having US Congressman Buddy Carter in the pharmacy was a reminder of why this Senate race matters. PBMs are squeezing margins, regulations are tightening, and independent pharmacies are fighting to keep serving patients. When someone who has actually practiced pharmacy is in the room, the conversation changes.

If pharmacy wants a real seat at the table in 2026 and beyond, we have to stay engaged. This race carries real implications for our profession — and it deserves attention from everyone who cares about the future of community pharmacy. If you're a pharmacist, a pharmacy technician, or work in a pharmacy, you should give to this man. He is fighting for us. Let's fight for him. There's not a more important race than this one for pharmacy in 2026.
