The healthy selfie of February 2026 is Dr. Joan Simon! Dr.Simon and her friend showed off their medals from the Big Dam Bridge bike ride, where they rode 50 miles.

“It was an amazing event with hundreds of participants, so it was the perfect way to connect with friends, support the community event, and rack up some miles.”

Happy National Pizza Day! 🍕 Pizza can absolutely fit into a healthy lifestyle — it’s all about how you build it. Try giving your slice a nutritious upgrade with a few simple swaps:

Pile on the veggies: Bell peppers, spinach, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and broccoli add fiber, vitamins, and flavor.
Choose lean protein: Grilled chicken or turkey sausage instead of higher-fat meats like pepperoni or sausage.
Go light on cheese: You’ll still get the taste with less saturated fat.
Try a whole wheat crust: More fiber to help keep you full longer.
Add fruit for fun: Pineapple or even arugula with pear can add a fresh twist!
