Kindness isn’t just “nice” — it’s good for your health, too. Small acts of kindness can boost mood, reduce stress, and help create a more positive workplace for everyone.

Today, challenge yourself to do at least *one* random act of kindness:
💛 Leave an encouraging note for a coworker
☕ Bring someone a coffee or snack
👏 Give genuine recognition for a job well done
📧 Send a quick “thank you” email
😊 Simply smile and say hello

Happy National Pizza Day! 🍕 Pizza can absolutely fit into a healthy lifestyle — it’s all about how you build it. Try giving your slice a nutritious upgrade with a few simple swaps:

Pile on the veggies: Bell peppers, spinach, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and broccoli add fiber, vitamins, and flavor.
Choose lean protein: Grilled chicken or turkey sausage instead of higher-fat meats like pepperoni or sausage.
Go light on cheese: You’ll still get the taste with less saturated fat.
Try a whole wheat crust: More fiber to help keep you full longer.
Add fruit for fun: Pineapple or even arugula with pear can add a fresh twist!

Our first BeWell Challenge of 2026, Gold Medal Madness, will run from January 19th to February 22nd. Throughout this challenge, you must track 30 minutes of physical activity 3x a week to earn the 10 points. First place will earn $50 in BearBucks, and two raffle winners will win a free 30-minute personal training session at the Thomas C. Courtway Student Recreation Center.
