If you’re wondering what’s normal during flu season, you’re not alone, and we’re here to help! The flu usually hits fast and feels bigger than a cold, think fever, body aches, and lots of fatigue. Most kids show symptoms within a few days of exposure and can be contagious for about a week. As a general rule, children can return to school once they’ve been fever free for 24 hours without medicine and are steadily improving.
