Respectfully… this is not that.

This is a South Carolina snow weekend. Our roads do not get salted like fries or like a Taylor Swift breakup song gets played on repeat.

Bridges freeze first. Back roads turn into surprise ice rinks. And your lifted truck, all wheel drive, or country boy confidence does not cancel physics.

🚫 This is not the weekend for errands, joyrides, or riding around to “see how bad it is.”
🚫 This is not a snow day side quest or a driving skills audition.
📺 This is a stay home, wear flannel, rewatch comfort shows, and mind your business kind of storm.

If you learned to drive in snow up north, we love that for you. Truly. But the infrastructure is different here, and the laws of gravity still apply.

Bring pets inside. Stay warm safely. Let first responders do their jobs without extra traffic.
Main character energy is great.
Staying home is better.

🚨 Winter Storm Watch 🚨
A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for our area this weekend due to very cold weather and possible snow.

Some of the coldest air this winter will move in on Friday and last into early next week. Wind chills will be very cold, dropping into the single digits Saturday and Sunday nights. Saturday night may be the worst, with wind chills falling below zero. Snow is expected, but exact amounts are still uncertain.

Please prepare now:
• Get your home ready for cold weather
• Stay off the roads and stay home if you can
• Check on neighbors, especially seniors and those who need extra help
