Sitting in this library under the fiction sign reminds me of one of my beloved mentors. The late grate Ms. Gloria Maxine Ragin. When somebody would do something that she just couldn’t believe, she had a saying, “Are you for real, or are you for make believe?”

Today however I hear myself saying this very thing to God about some new opened doors. Some of them are so out of my element or it’s something I haven’t done in over 12 years. So in my Ms. Maxine voice, “God are you for real about this or are you for make believe?”

See God has a sense of humor sometimes and the joy that I have today is one for the books! As I await for at least 20-35 girls at Loris Middle School to offer them encouragement and empowerment I Am in awe of God’s choosing me. Here I am Lord!

🧘🏾‍♀️I got up at 4:45 AM. Drank some hot tea and prayed.
💻 computer Posted 4 social media posts and two reels.
🚘📚🍽️ I dropped the fellas off at middle school and fed myself.
💪 I’ve changed all the bed linen.
🧹Swept the floor and moped the floor.
💨The whole house has been saged
🪟I put the windows up to release and receive.
🧺Dirty linen is currently being washed.
🐕CASH, my dog is now asleep on the couch. 🍽️ Now, on to the dishes
🙈🙉🙊Then 4 therapy appointments back to back.

🤲🏾I will be giving myself permission to rest, rejuvenate, and meditate at a local breathwork event with my husband.

This is balance. This is my normal Wednesday. It gives a rhythym and a flow to the rest of the week. What’s your Wednesday work life balance flow look like?

The Soul Cards 2 Deck Collective Pull
✨ 1 In the past you’ve silently waited for things to emerge to check the times to see what was on the horizon. ✨2 currently you’re in the shadow literally coming out of the shadows waiting to see what will be illuminated. The difference in the shadow this time is it’s exactly where you’re supposed to be discovering yourself finding yourself acknowledging where the darkness needs to be in the light. There’s parts of us that we’ve hidden away because others have told us that there is no place for it or that you’re just too loud or too bright or too bone. These leaves are falling away winter is going away. Finished the discovery times stay in the shadow until the foliage starts to change . ✨3 when we’re looking forward to what I sold already knows and what our body is just discovering and what our mind is being illuminated in a neural pathways to remember, everything you may seem upside down or topsy-turvy or confusing. Maybe you normally by now you have all your goals and your directions and your ideas altogether but this year hits differently this year is so important because we have to stay in Divine alignment we have to stay with our ears a tune to spirit we must continue our spiritual disciplines we must do the things that keeps us fully aware of what spirit God in the ancestors are doing in this season of our life. So this card is in the shadow aspect as well. However your soul already knows the way. Take it one step at a time move slowly because something we have learned by untangling knots or undoing the webs we weave it slow and steady is the way.
🪞 the reflection for today and for the week is knowledge there is no quick fast fix there is no way to just take care of what needs to be done just for today be careful that you don’t make moves that seem like they resolved the current situation in the current circumstances but bind you or hold you for the next 3 to 7 to 10 years. Remember slow and steady.
