Today’s Friday Member Feature highlights Andrew Cole, MD, AMS Member and President of Conway OB/GYN.

With a team of five physicians and four APRNs, Dr. Cole leads Conway OB/GYN in providing quality medical care. Together, they ensure a safe and comfortable setting for patients. Notably, the practice became the first OB/GYN office in Conway and remains committed to excellent patient care.

A passion for medicine runs in Dr. Cole’s family. As a sixth-generation Cole-family physician, he carries on a legacy of service to Arkansas patients. His son, an orthopedic surgeon, and his daughter, now completing her residency, have followed suit. "My father was an OB/GYN and a member of AMS for 50 years," Dr. Cole shared. "I have my dad’s 50-year pin!"

Happy Doctor’s Day to five of the best! As the Practice Manager, people often ask me about my physicians. I tell them they are fantastic doctors but are also some of the nicest people I’ve met. I trust them implicitly. They take care of me, my daughters, many family members and several friends! Honestly, I believe that is one of the highest compliments I could ever give them!

Meet “Winnie”, our resident Christmas cactus who is showing off by continuing to bloom two weeks after Christmas. Fun fact, this was gifted to Gaylin McChristian about 25 years ago. Gaylin served as our ultrasonographer for 30+ years before retiring. Do you have a cactus similar to Winnie? How often does yours bloom?

Dr. Alex Smith joined our clinic in July of this year and we are very excited he is here! He has a dry sense of humor, a humble spirit, a grateful heart and is such an incredible doctor! He is so great to work with and today we celebrate his birthday with all the golf themed stuff. Cake by Bethany and all the trimmings by Ginger and Jennifer! Happy birthday Dr. Smith!
