Testicular cancer is the most common cancer among men ages 15 – 44, regardless of fitness level. Early detection makes a significant difference, and can be one of the most treatable forms of cancer when found early.

This type of cancer often presents as a painless lump, swelling, or a feeling of heaviness or dull ache in the area. Performing a monthly self-exam can help you notice changes sooner. When caught early, treatment is often simpler, and outcomes are better.

This week, we hosted our fourth annual Wellness Walk and Talk in honor of Minority Health Month with more than 50 participants joining us!

Kuna Okong, MD, a hospitalist at Conway Regional, highlighted colon cancer, high blood pressure, and diabetes as conditions that affect African American communities at higher rates. Minority Health Month is a time dedicated to raising awareness about the health disparities impacting racial and ethnic minority groups and encouraging action through health education.

In honor of Occupational Therapy Month, Bobby Shock shared his story about the care he received at Conway Regional Therapy Center – Greenbrier! 💚

After a life-changing fall left him with a severe shoulder injury, Bobby refused to give up. With the support of his occupational therapist, Cayla Baker, OTR, he pushed through every challenge and achieved what once felt impossible.
