➡️ Most tick bites are harmless. Only 10% result in a transmitted disease
➡️ The sooner you remove the tick, the less chance of illness
➡️ Ticks in AR rarely carry Lyme disease. 95% of cases are found in the Northeast and upper Midwest
➡️ The main tickborne illness in AR are Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Ehrlichiosis, and STARI (Southern Tick-Associated Rash Illness)
