Cook Thrift Shop The Thrift Shop has resumed its regular hours. Thurs Fri and 2nd and 4th Sat 9-3

The purpose of the organization shall be to promote and to advance the welfare of the Cook Area Hospital and Nursing Home through ways approved by the governing board of the hospital. This purpose shall be accomplished by interpretation of the hospital to the public through service to the hospital, nursing home and the patient and through fund raising in a manner satisfactory to the hospital governing board.

We will return to our regular hours starting the first week of February. They are as follows:
Every Thursday, Friday, and the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. Shopping hours are from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Donations will be accepted during shopping hours.
Donations are also accepted on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. - noon. Please don't leave donations outside if there are no workers there to accept them.

A big shout out from the Thrift Shop to long-time volunteer, Mary Mollard. She recently won the Lifetime Achievement Award during the 2025 AEOA volunteer hall of fame award ceremony. Not only does she volunteer at the Thrift Shop, she also works as a Tax-Aide, helping people prepare their taxes each year, and has racked up more than 9,000 hours in the last 25 years. Also congrats to Amy Anderson, another Thrift Shop vounteer who was awarded the Community Impact Award for her friendliness and dedication to the shop. The Thrift Shop was also recognized with the Station of the Year Honorable Mention reporting 6,000 volunteer hours in 2025. Congratulations to all, and a big thank you for your dedication volunteering!
