Scenic Rivers Health Services Scenic Rivers Health Services' focus is to provide medical, dental and behavioral health services in remote, rural areas of northern Minnesota. in 1979.

We live, work and play in the communities we serve, with clinics spanning over an 8,500 square mile area. Scenic Rivers Health Services, a Community Health Center and Federally Qualified Health Center, has been dedicated to providing accessible healthcare since its founding as Cook Area Health Services, Inc. Over the years, the organization has expanded to serve an 8,500-square-mile area in northern Minnesota, operating seven medical clinics and four dental clinics. With strong ties to critical access hospitals in Cook and Bigfork, Scenic Rivers Health Services medical providers ensure 24/7 patient care. Its mission focuses on delivering high-quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services to rural communities, emphasizing a commitment to keeping local residents healthy. By living and working in the same communities they serve, the providers at Scenic Rivers continue to prioritize patient-centered, affordable care for all. All comments must be respectful. Alex is a clinical trainee and soon-to-be Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Associate (LPCC-A) providing compassionate mental health care to children and adults across the lifespan.
