Scenic Rivers Health Services' focus is to provide medical, dental and behavioral health services in remote, rural areas of northern Minnesota. in 1979.

We live, work and play in the communities we serve, with clinics spanning over an 8,500 square mile area. Scenic Rivers Health Services, a Community Health Center and Federally Qualified Health Center, has been dedicated to providing accessible healthcare since its founding as Cook Area Health Services, Inc. Over the years, the organization has expanded to serve an 8,500-square-mile area in northern Minnesota, operating seven medical clinics and four dental clinics. With strong ties to critical access hospitals in Cook and Bigfork, Scenic Rivers Health Services medical providers ensure 24/7 patient care. Its mission focuses on delivering high-quality medical, dental, and behavioral health services to rural communities, emphasizing a commitment to keeping local residents healthy. By living and working in the same communities they serve, the providers at Scenic Rivers continue to prioritize patient-centered, affordable care for all. All comments must be respectful. Just like planting seeds takes time to grow into something strong, we’re planting the seeds of new systems to bring our community better care. 🌱

👉 Starting Saturday, December 6, all Scenic Rivers sites will be closed to implement new software.
👉 All sites will also be closed on Monday, December 8.
👉 Beginning Tuesday, December 9, appointment availability will be limited to allow our staff time to adjust.

Today from 3-6pm our Eveleth Medical Clinic will be partnering with the Eveleth Ambulance and the Elks Club to stuff the ambulance!
We'll have very special guests - Santa and the Grinch, and Cook's Country Connection! We'll also have a warming tent, hot chocolate and candy canes. If you're able, we encourage community members to bring a new and unwrapped toy or game to be distributed to local children and families.
