Each year, people ask if there really are more instances of domestic violence on Superbowl Sunday.

While domestic violence is a gravely serious issue every day of the year, there's no evidence to suggest it occurs more often during the Superbowl than at other times.

However, this annual query does serve as a reminder of the importance of anger management – whether you're disappointed in the performance of your favorite football team or are wrestling with deeper issues.
