📣Attention Patients and Community:
As most of you know, Satellite Med's mission has always been to provide the highest quality care with the best outcomes at the most affordable prices possible. REST ASSURED, these goals are NOT changing. Our mission and vision remain the same even through the hills and valleys that we have faced in this challenging season. We will always strive to offer the best care because that's our primary focus, our patients and the outcomes of their health. We also strive for complete transparency and do our best to publicly notify our patients and community of changes. That said, here are some things that are happening at Satellite Med:
📣We officially began seeing patients with Traditional Medicare on June 9th. There is lots of excitement from patients about getting scheduled to see our Providers, and we love to hear it! We also want everyone to know that we are working DAILY with our Interstate Health family to get credentialed with more and more insurances! Our long-term goal is to be credentialed with nearly any insurance a patient could have. Please know that the credentialing process takes time, and alongside that, please also remember that we keep self-pay costs as low as absolutely possible. It plays into our mission of creating AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE services. Some of the additional insurances we are working to add to our list are:

👆Speaking of self-pay prices and transparency: we also want to let everyone know that our self-pay visit prices will increase slightly on Monday, July 14th. The new prices will be $100/visit for established patients and $125/visit for new patients. Physicals will move to $125. Please be assured that this is not an "indication of things to come" because of our merger and this is not "a corporate thing". All year we have been evaluating business costs and continuing to offer comprehensive services that provide MEANINGFUL care and quality measures for our patients. As we've explained this year, insurance reimbursements have been historically low and both Satellite Med and our patients have been directly impacted by this. We CONTINUE to have the most affordable visit costs paired with the most services in medical clinic. Our goal is to keep service prices as low as possible while continuing to add services that complement the level of care that you are accustomed to.

✅Imaging - Xray/Cardiac Echos/Full slate of Ultrasound services (lowest price in the state)
✅Labs - full onsite laboratory offering a wide range of phlebotomy services and culture testing, including bloodwork and UAs
✅DOTs - same-day appts available in most cases
✅PRP and Supartz Injections
Cancer and Genetic Testing
✅Weight Loss Visits
✅Dementia Screening
✅Concussion Testing with referrals
✅Medication prescribing and maintenance
✅Telemedicine walk-ins and follow-up appts

🗣We also understand that there has been concern with our ability to answer phones and respond to patients effectively. We are also actively working on adding to our front office/reception team to be able to better manage our call volume and patient communication, so look forward to those coming improvements!
