wow. Two days in a row that I've posted something.

There are new and exciting changes happening for the MA program. We have moved the classroom and lab to T117. We have a more cohesive layout. the students can now watch videos while practicing hands on. There is more storage for supplies. They are making adjustments to the room this summer so we will be up and running this fall. I'm very excited about the move. We used the room the last four weeks of the semester and it worked out well. Anytime you are in the neighborhood stop by. Class is still held on Tuesdays from 10am to 2pm.

Reminder to everyone. If you haven't taken your certification exam you need to register soon. CMS (medicare and medicaid are in the process of reviewing clinics for proper credentials. You HAVE to be Credentialed to access any electronic medical records (EHR/EMR). You also have to be credentialed to give injections and handle drugs/medications. I have had some people tell me their doctor says they didn't need it. YES you do. The doctor can be fined thousands of dollars and you won't have a job anymore. It doesn't matter which exam you take, either CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT). The state of Arizona will except either credential. They both cost $125 dollars. If you need any help getting registered I'll be glad to help you.
