I know that I posted Monday about the online webinar/class I attended. There were 2 more classes that I managed to fit in this week as well. All 3 were wonderfully presented and I took something away from each class, a little slice of knowledge. I know that most of you are not massage therapists, but all of us can relate to the two nuggets, from yesterdays class, that I am going to share with you. Let me know if you can relate to both or either of these!

"Self-care is not indulgence. It is self-advocacy." How many times do we feel like we don't "deserve" a massage? That it's selfish? It is actually refilling your cup, so you can continue to help others. You cannot proceed to share your gifts and talents with the world when your cup is empty!

"Commit to less so you can show up more!" This one spoke volumes to me. We might be able to do so many things in a day, or volunteer to do so many different things, but that doesn't mean we should. We need to prioritize, so that we can show up more for our family and friends.
